POLISH ANIMATED FILMS AT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVALS IN DECEMBER
The festival frenzy is coming to its conclusion in at the end of the year. It is getting calmer, but this doesn’t mean that Polish animations are no longer going to be screened at international festivals. Be sure to check out the places where foreign audiences will be able to see our productions.
Katarzyna Warzecha’s animated documentary is going to have two screenings at the beginning of December. “We Have One Heart” is visiting Sommets du cinéma d’animation in Canada and BOGOSHORTS in Colombia. “I am Here”, an animated short directed by Julia Orlik, is competing for prizes at the former, while Tomek Ducki’s “Planetarium” was invited to the latter’s competition program
The following films are also going to enjoy their last screenings this year: Paulina Ziółkowska’s “Bless You!” at the Beijing International Film Festival, Tomek Popakula’s “Acid Rain” at the Leuven Short Film Festival in Belgium, and “We Hope You Won’t Need to Come Back” by Anastazja Naumenko at the Catch the Moon International Children & Youth Animated Film Festival in Italy.
