"I AM HERE" BEST ANIMATED FILM AT DOK LEIPZIG
We already met the winners of this year's edition of the DOK Leipzig The award for the best animataed film went to Julia Orlik.
DOK Leipzig is one of the leading events in the world of documentary and animated film. Each year in Leipzig, the latest film productions from several dozen countries from all continents are presented.
The protagonist of awarded "I'm Here”, that was invited to the competition, is an elderly man who looks after his paralyzed wife. Despite his old age and his own health problems, he tries her best to alleviate her suffering, which is getting stronger every day. He is helped by his daughter, who tries to reconcile care with work in the hospital and her family life. Each of them has different views on what the patient care should be like, which leads to many arguments.
