"A BLUE ROOM" AWARDED AT 55TH KFF

On 6th June the Award Ceremony of 55th Krakow Film Festival was held. "A Blue room" by Tomasz Siwiński was among the awarded films.

Tomasz Siwiński received the Silver Hobby-Horse for the Director of the Best Animated Film for the film "A Blue Room" (Poland, France). The National Competition Jury consisting of: Piotr Dumała – chairman, Jarosław Kamiński, Hanna Polak, Grażyna Stachówna, Janusz Wróblewski has motivated its decision:has decided to award the film "for finding exceptionally accurate visual means to express the metaphysical value of the human existence".

It is worth to mention that the Special Mention of the Jury of the International Federation of Film Societies (FICC) went to Witold Giersz and his latest film "Signum". The film screened in international short film competition.
