"PUSSY" WINS AT AFI FEST
On November 17, AFI Fest in the USA announced the list of festival award-winners. The Grand Jury Award for the best short animated film went to the animation "Pussy," directed by Renata Gąsiorowska.
AFI Fest is the film festival organised by American Film Institute, which is held in Los Angeles, the United States since 1971. AFI Docs is also the festival, the winners of which in the short feature film and animated film categories have the chance of winning an Academy Award nomination. This year, the award qualifying for applying for the Academy Award statuette - the Grand Jury Award - went to the animated film "Pussy," directed by Renata Gąsiorowska.
In the animated film "Pussy," a young girl spends an evening in her apartment. The protagonist decides to organise a session of pleasure only for herself, however, not everything goes according to the plan.
