SUPPORT FOR THE ARMENIAN FESTIVAL REANIMANIA!

ReAnimania is looking for financial support for the development of the festival and maintaining its independence.

ReAnimania International Animation Film Festival in Yerevan was founded by the animated film-maker, painter and cartoonist Vrej Kassouny in 2008. His vision was to "resuscitate" the tradition of Armenian animated film, which is over 70 years old, and restore Armenia to the international map of animated film. The aim of the organisers is to create a platform which would enable co-operation between international, recognised artists and local film-makers. Over the last few years, during ReAnimania, many workshops, seminars and lectures were held, and it became one of the most important events in the Caucasian territory.

ReAnimania is looking for public funds in order to maintain the festival's independence and create new educational and business opportunities for Armenian artists. Only thanks to this support, the festival would be able to develop and implement its planned educational, industry and animation programmes. All contributions will be intended to expand the artistic programme of the coming edition, to invite international experts, to organise seminars and to add variety to the animated film market and the animated film platform, which is to be a meeting place of international animated film-makers, producers, distributors and sales agents.

More information about the festival and forms of support can be found on this website.

Festival will be held this year from 28th October - 3rd November.
