This year's ninth edition of the International Animated Film Festival Banjaluka was held from October 23 to 26, and 54 films were shown in the screening. The festival Banjaluka was founded on the basis of The May Festival of Animated Film, the first edition of which was held in 1971 and which was a pioneer festival in the former Yugoslavia, dedicated exclusively to animated film. In the programme of the festival, in addition to the competition section, there are numerous retrospectives, accompanying screenings and workshops addressed to professionals and amateurs. This year, several Polish films were shown at the festival, and one of the main awards went to Daria Kopiec for her film "Cosmos."

It is the second award for the film. "Cosmos" is a poetic film about physical love. About a talking body. About muscles, skin, heart that want to be touched. About the body which wants to experience the presence of another body.
