POLISH PROJECTS NOMINATED AT ANIMAGO

Two Polish productions are among the nominees at this year's Animago festival.

Animago is one of the most important conferences in Europe, dedicated to computer animation. Every year, it attracts specialists making visual special effects and computer animation. The best computer 3D animations, visual effects and interactive media are awarded. 1076 entries from 58 countries were submitted to the twentieth edition of Animago. 39 projects were nominated in 13 competition categories. The latest game by Ubisoft, Watch Dogs 2, produced by Platige Image and directed by Damian Nenow will compete for the awards, and in the architectural competition - the project by Faculty of Engineering Information Technology / Denton Corker Marshall by Marcin Jastrzębski from Real Polygons.

This year, the two-day event will be held for the first time in the cultural centre Gasteig in Munich. It will concentrate on special effects, stereoscopy, interactive media and legal aspects related to the work in the VFX industry. The participants will have a chance to choose from among numerous presentations, connected with technical and artistic aspects of the issues.

This year, Animago is held from 27 to 28 October.
