Betina Bożek's animation will be presented at another international festival. This time, the film has been selected for the AmDocs - American Documentary and Animation Film Festival in Palm Springs, which is an Oscar® qualifying festival.
Shortly after its American premiere at the prestigious Cinequest in San Jose, California, Love Me Tender will be screened for audiences at AmDocs – American Documentary and Animation Film Festival in Palm Springs. The film will compete for the Best Animated Short Competition award, giving it another chance to qualify for an Oscar® in the Best Animated Short Film category.
‘Love Me Tender’ tells the story of an introverted man emotionally attached to… a vacuum cleaner, who enters the world of online dating. A series of unsuccessful encounters leads him to conclude that technology, instead of bringing people closer together, often drives them apart, and that true intimacy can arise in the most unexpected places.
The film is produced by Tomasz Wojaczyński Lomi Films Studio.
AmDocs will run from 25 to 29 March. More information about the festival can be found here.
