POLISH FILMS IN THE PREMIERS PLANS COMPETITION
Three Polish shorts have been invited into various competitions of the French festival Premers Plans.
Held in Angers, the Premiers Plans festival presents films by debuting European directors. The program includes fiction films, animated ones, and documentaries. Attendees get to see the first films made by promising filmmakers as well as get acquainted with the rich output of established directors – with several retrospectives dedicated to them.
This year, two Polish productions have been invited into the European First Animated Films competition. Viewers will watch Crab by Piotr Chmielewski and Five Minutes Older by Sara Szymańska. In turn, the European Student Films competition will feature Robert Kwilman's short Alkibiades.
