POLISH DOCUMENTARIES TO PREMIERE AT VISIONS DU RÉEL
Two Polish documentaries have been invited to the international competition of the Swiss festival Visions du Réel. It will be the world premiere of both films.
Visions du Réel has been organized in the Swiss city of Nyon since 1969. At the beginning the festival in Nyon showcased mainly Swiss films and productions from Eastern Bloc countries, which were very difficult to see by audiences from Western Europe. Currently, Visions du Reél is one of the largest documentary film festivals in Europe. This year's online edition will take place from April 17 to May 2.
Two Polish films are competing for the title of the best international short or medium-length documentary - the documentary "An Ordinary Country" by Tomasz Wolski and the animated documentary "We Have One Heart" by Katarzyna Warzecha.
More information about Visions de Reél can be found on the festival's website.
