"COLAHOLIC" AWARDED IN ATHENS
A week ago ended the festival Athens Animfest, at which the film by Marcin Podolec won the special award.
The Athens Animfest is a festival devoted entirely to animated films, which has been held in the capital of Greece for 14 years. The programme consists mainly of four competitions: the short film competition, the student film competition, the Greek film competition and the experimental film competition. In addition to the screenings of the films competing for the statuettes, workshops and retrospectives are also in store for the viewers.
The film by Marcin Podolec was the only Polish production which was invited to the short film competition. The animated film was appreciated for its educational values and won the Education Award.
"Colaholic" is the journal of a person who drinks too much sweet carbonated drinks, a documentary film and a romantic comedy all in one.
