CREATIVE FOCUS CALLS FOR ANIMATED PROJECTS
Call for entries for next edition of Creative Focus has been launched! Projects can be submitted until 15th January.
Creative Focus – organized within the frame of French festival Annecy - is a forum of the animation projects whose authors seek for the support from the potential producers and buyers willing to get involved in the production. Project presentations and recruitment sessions are the two mainstays of the Creative Focus. Here, the representatives of projects are given the opportunity to present their projects to potential funders and partners. International studios and production companies organize open recruitment sessions for registered authors and creative artists. Also, the registered participants are given the opportunity of participation in the meetings and presentations with the presence of animation experts followed by Q&A sessions. Above all Creative Focus is a perfect networking opportunity that helps making new professional contacts and exchanging experiences.The event is aimed at animation professionals, directors, storyboarders, designers, illustrators, graphic artists, production and animation studios, TV channels, broadcasters etc. Eligible animation categories are as follows: short films, feature films, TV series and specials and cross-media.
Last year, precisely 273 projects were submitted for the participation in the forum from which 25 got finally selected to be presented during the event. After the forum twelve of them were produced with the support of international coproducers.
Creative Focus will take place between 11th and 14th June.
