MORE POLISH FILMS AT THE FESTIVAL IN ANNECY

The organisers of the festival in Annecy like to give information in little doses. The entire programme of this year's edition has just been announced, including the information about the films which went to the special sections.

The Festival in Annecy is one of the most important and one of the oldest festivals in Europe, dedicated to animated film. Every year, it attracts over 150 thousand of viewers, and it also turns into a meeting place of professionals connected to the animated film industry, coming from around the world. This year's edition is held from the 10th of June to the 15th of June.

The heart of the programme are the competitions: the short film competition, the television competition and the student film competition. Among them, you can also find Polish films (we wrote about it here). In addition to the three aforementioned competition sections, there is also a place for the fourth one - the Commissioned Films Competition. It is dedicated to the films which were made on commission. There, this year's trailer of the festival Tricky Women/Tricky Realities Festival, made by Marta Pajek, was invited.

Within the frames of the special events, you can also watch Polish animated films. In the non-competing sections, there are the latest animated films by Piotr Dumała ("Last Supper") and by Izabela Plucińska ("Portrait of Suzanne").
