POLISH WORK IN PROGRESS AT CARTOON MOVIE!

During this year's pitching Cartoon Forum, the work-in-progress film "Fatima," partially produced by Platige Imagine, will be shown.

Cartoon Movie  is the largest pitching dedicated to feature-length animated films in the world. The event, the first edition of which was held in 1999, is the meeting place for producers, investors and distributors from around the world. The producers, presenting their work-in-progress films in the pitchings, have the opportunity to reach a wide group of professionals and to find potential partners interested in the project, both in the field of production and distribution.  Last year, Cartoon Movie was visited by 750 participants from 40 countries, 240 buyers, including 120 distributors. During the pitchings, 56 work-in-progress films were shown in four categories.

This year, in the prestigious group of 55 projects selected for the presentation, there is the film "Fatima - and the Secret Treasure" directed by Bartek Kik, produced by the Polish studio Platige Image and the Portuguese Imaginew.

"Fatima - and the Secret Treasure" is an adventure, comedy animated film for children. The events at Fatima and the hundredth anniversary of them inspired the author to write the script. From the artistic point of view, "Fatima - and the Secret Treasure" is the artistic work of Platige Image in one hundred percent - 200 people from Poland are involved in the production. The film's co-producer is the Portuguese Imaginew.

This year's edition of Cartoon Movie is held from March 8 to 10 in Bordeaux.
