“INSECT” GETS SPECIAL MENTION IN GREECE

The new film by Marcin Podolec was recognised at this year's Athens Animfest.

Athens Animfest is held in the capital of Greece by the European Center of Animation & Arts, whose aim is to promote animated films among young people, show them the possibilities of the genre, and encourage to pursuit their own creativity. Its program includes a lot of unique European productions. 

One of them is the latest film by Marcin Podolec. Insect met with a warm enough welcome to receive a special mention. The protagonist of the film is Pascal, who lives with his parents in a smog-ridden city. Such a dense fog causes many accidents and mistakes to occur. The smoke hides the secrets of both men and… insects. Discovering one of these secrets changes Pascal's life.
