"COLD PUDDING SETTLES LOVE" AWARDED IN SAN FRANCISCO
The film by Urszula Palusińska was chosen the most visionary short animated film of the 62nd edition of the San Francisco International Film Festival.
The San Francisco International Film Festival is the longest-running American film festival that has been regularly held since 1957. This event enjoys great popularity and diversity. Every year, the audience has the opportunity to watch ca. 200 films from over 50 countries.
In the programme of this year's edition, in addition to the award-winning film "Cold Pudding Settles Love," you could also watch the animated film "Bless You!" directed by Paulina Ziółkowska.
The production by Ursula Palusińska is a story about people who stopped their everyday activities. Their lazy manifestation turns into the deconstruction of the city's fabric. Against the background of the crisis, we observe two individuals who, according to the tradition, should uphold order – the King and the Superhero. At the moment when the world is getting out of control, they are too engrossed in their emotional lives to be able to live up to the roles assigned to them.
