POLISH TITLE: POWRÓT

Inspired by Stanisław Lem’s novel Return from the Stars, this is an amusing story about an astronaut who suddenly and unintentionally comes back to earth after quite a long stay in interplanetary space. As a result of a so-called time paradox, much more time has passed on earth than in the astronaut’s life while he was away. A lot has changed over these years. Unexpectedly, a small and resolute girl becomes his guide to the old reality, which, for the returning astronaut, is new and full of riddles, pitfalls and dangers. This visually interesting film made by Anna Błaszczyk is a collage of various techniques which include drawing, cut-out and computer animation.
