UTERUS
POLISH TITLE: MACICA
Inspired by Edgar Keret’s short story, Uterus is a story of the family whose fate was determined by the mother’s illness and her beautiful uterus, which became a museum exhibit. This beginning hides the secret of the family break-up and reconciliation – the father’s leaving and the mother’s death. The uterus, shining in a display case of the hospital museum, guards the answers to the most important questions in life – those about attachment, love and indissoluble family ties.
