POLISH ANIMATED FILMS AT FESTIVALS IN JANUARY
The festival season has not yet started for good, but Polish animated films will be featured at several prestigious film festivals. Slamdance, Premiers Plans or Clermont Ferrand, and there's more! Check out which Polish productions will have a chance to win the most important awards this month.
Polish animated films will open the new year at Slamdance. Its competitions also include the animated films Crumbs of Life by Katarzyna Miechowicz, Plantarium by Tomasz Ducki, and I'm Here by Julia Orlik. You can read more about it here. Miechowicz's film will also be screened at the Black Movie Geneva Independent Film Festival in Switzerland.
Several Polish productions can also be found in the program of the 34th Premiers Plans Film Festival. Its competitions feature Fury by Julia Siuda, Beasts Among Us by Natalia Durszewicz, and Plantarium by Tomasz Ducki.
The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival starts at the end of the month. The premiere Airborne by Andrzej Jobczyk and the Polish-Slovak Once There Was a Sea… by Joanna Kozuch, as well as Julia Siuda's Fury and Sara Szymańska's Five Minutes Older have all been invited into the program.
