The film shows a new life waking up as well as the anxiety that accompanies the transformation of a female body which loses its former shape responding to the internal force affecting it. The physical sensation of another human being inside the body becomes increasingly more distinct until the moment when he leaves the boundaries of the woman’s body to finally mark his independence. Ab Ovo is an extremely visual animation that illustrates the power of fertility lying dormant in every woman.

She was born in Krakow in 1986. She graduated in animation from the Film School in Łódź and in psychology from the University of Warsaw. She is a producer and director of animated films specializing in stop-motion techniques. For many years, she co-created LeLe Crosmedia Production. In her films, she experiments with traditional animation techniques, creating small, intimate worlds. The films she has directed have gained international recognition, including the Annecy Award for Best Diploma Film for “Ab ovo,” and are shown at festivals around the world.
